Overview

Product Overview:
Rat angiotensinogen intact ELISA kit is a method for quantitative detection of intact angiotensinogen (AGT) in rat serum, cell culture supernatant, EDTA-plasma and urine samples. This assay has a minimum sensitivity detection limit of 0.02 ng/ml.
Product Description:
Angiotensinogen (AGT) is a vital component of the renin-angiotensin system, it is constitutively produced and then released from the liver into the plasma where it can be cleaved to give angiotensin. AGT belongs to a group of protein known as serpin, it is an alpha-2-globulin protein. Angiotensinogen has been linked to pre-eclampsia, neonatal/foetal mortality, morbidity, heterogeneous disorders and predisposition to hypertension. In the blood elevating the concentration of corticosteroid, angiontensin II, estrogen and thyroid hormone can result in increasing the levels of plasma AGT.
Product Content:
Pre-coated plate: anti-rat AGT (135).
Labeled antibody (30x Conc.).
Standard: recombinant rat angiotensinogen.
