It is known to cause various livestock diseases commonly found in pigs, cows, and poultry, including mastitis, joint infections, and skin infections. Vibrio parahaemolyticus stands out as the leading cause of seafood-borne gastroenteritis globally and poses a significant challenge to worldwide aquaculture.
