Schistosoma indicum is a species of digenetic trematode belonging to the family Schistosomatidae. This parasite is prevalent among domestic animals in India and various other Asian countries. Its primary intermediate host is the freshwater snail Indoplanorbis exustus, which serves as the sole natural intermediate host for S. indicum, along with two other Schistosoma species, on the Indian subcontinent.
