Tritrichomonas foetus is a species of single-celled, flagellated parasites recognized as a pathogen in the bovine reproductive tract and the intestinal tract of cats. This microscopic protozoan parasite has traditionally been associated with reproductive diseases in cattle, such as infertility, abortion, and endometritis. Like many other trichomonad protozoa, Tritrichomonas foetus exhibits only a trophozoite stage.
