Yersinia enterocolitica virF gene
Product Description:
BioVenic Yersinia enterocolitica virF gene Probe-based qPCR Kit is designed for the real-time detection of Yersinia enterocolitica virF gene in Biological samples using a Probe-based qPCR method. For research use only.
Details:
Yersinia enterocolitica is the pathogen responsible for yersiniosis, a zoonotic disease of increasing epidemiological concern with significant public health implications. The primary regulatory gene for virulence markers is virF, which encodes the transcriptional activator of the Yersinia virulence regulon. VirF, a 30 kDa DNA-binding protein in the AraC family, is produced exclusively at 37 °C, though additional factors are necessary to initiate the transcription of VirF target genes. VirF serves as a crucial transcriptional activator for the yop and yadA genes.
