Description:
Goat anti pig CXCL9 antibody recognizes pig CXCL9, otherwise known as MIG (monokine induced by interferon-gamma). CXCL9 is a member of the C-X-C family of chemokine receptors, secreted by interferon γ stimulated monocytes, macrophages and endothelial cells.
CXCL9 acts as a Th1 (type 1 helper T) cell chemoattractant, and plays a role in the growth, activation and movement of cells associated with tumor growth inhibition and angiogenesis.

Preparation:
Antisera to pig CXCL9 were raised by repeated immunisation of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
