Leptospira biflexa Antigen (Strain Patoc 1)

Description:

Leptospira biflexa is propagated in broth culture. Following culture, the cells are subjected to organic solvent treatment. The alcohol extracted organisms are presented in 100 mM glycine buffer, pH 9.5.

This bacterial preparation has been inactivated as described above. Attempted pathogen recultivation under original culture conditions resulted in no propagation being observed. No specific biological hazards are known to be associated with this product.
