Description:

Mouse anti feline immunodeficiency virus p24 antibody, clone NM3-6A9 recognizes feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) p24 gag capsid protein, derived from the p50 GAG polyprotein. The p24 capsid protein forms the conical viral core encapsulating the genomic RNA-nucleocapsid complex and is involved in viral packaging and subsequent release from infected cells. FIV is a lentivirus infecting many domestic and wild cat species, resulting in a progressive immunodeficiency disease bearing a number of parallels with HIV-1 infection in man.
Mouse anti feline immunodeficiency virus p24 antibody, clone NM3-6A9 does not recognise feline leukemia virus, feline herpes virus type 1, feline coronavirus or feline calicivirus.

Note:

Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
