Description:
Mouse anti pig CD6, clone a38b2, recognizes the porcine homologue of human CD6.
Porcine CD6 is expressed exclusively on T-lymphocytes, clone a38b2 recognizes an epitope on T-lymphocytes which is not present on either monocytes or B-cells . Clone a38b2 immunoprecipitates a monomeric protein of ~150 kDa from an activated T-cell lysate. Clone a38b2 binds to different epitope from clone MIL8 on porcine CD6 due to their total lack of reciprocal binding to CD6 expressing cells.

Storage:
This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Note:
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
