Mouse anti Sheep CD32-Like

Description:

Mouse anti sheep CD32-Like, clone VPM63 recognizes a cell surface antigen of 40-42 kDa which is similar to the human cell surface antigen designated as CD32. It has therefore been hypothesized that clone VPM63 may recognise a minor isoform of the ovine homologue of human CD32. Mouse anti sheep CD32-Like, clone VPM63 has been shown to recognize an antigen expressed by macrophages and monocytes but not by lymphocytes and shows strong staining of alveolar macrophages in flow cytometry.

CD32 is one of a group of Fc receptors belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily and involved in phagocytosis of opsonized microbes. CD32, also known as the Fc gamma RII, acts as a low affinity receptor for IgG. The antigen mediates several functions including endocytosis, activation of secretion, cytotoxicity and immunomodulation.

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.

Note:

Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
