Description:
Rabbit anti pig Eotaxin 1 recognizes pig eotaxin 1, also known as chemokine ligand 11 (CCL11).
Eotaxin 1 is produced by endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells, epithelial cells, alveolar macrophages and eosinophils. CCL11 is involved in allergic reactions by inducing chemotaxis of white blood cells.

Preparation:
Antiserum to pig eotaxin 1 was raised by repeated immunization of rabbit with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
