The Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV), part of the Lagovirus genus and Caliciviridae family, is a non-enveloped virus characterized by a size of approximately 35–40 nm, icosahedral symmetry, and a linear positive-sense RNA genome ranging from 6.4 to 8.5 kb.
