Recombinant bovine interleukin-15 (IL-15) is a recombinant protein corresponding to aa 49-162 of native bovine IL-15.
Bovine interleukin-15 is a stimulatory cytokine belonging the the IL-15/IL-21 cytokine family that is involved in the proliferation of T lymphocytes and NK-cells. IL-15 appears principly to be involved in defence against viral and inflammatory autoimmune diseases.
