Details:

Rotavirus (RV) is a common intestinal pathogen that causes diarrhea in infants, animals, and birds. The genus includes nine species: A, B, C, D, F, G, H, I, and J. RVA primarily affects humans, while RVB sometimes causes sporadic or epidemic diarrhea outbreaks in calves, adult cows, lambs, kids, adult goats, and piglets. RVC leads to intestinal disease in various species, including humans, swine, bovines, and canines. Research indicates that RVH is prevalent in U.S. swine herds.
